The critical TV report features revisionist historian Alexander Dyukov as an expert. Dyukov is best known for his book „The Myth About Genocide”, which denies Soviet genocide in Estonia (RT VIDEO).
Dyukov has furiously denounced „Soviet Story” film in Russian media. He also took part in burning of the film director’s effigy (VIDEO). On June 6, 2008 Dyukov published a review of the “Soviet Story” in the journal “The New Chronicles”, where he wrote the following: “After watching two thirds of the film, I had only one wish: to kill its director and to burn down the Latvian Embassy”.
